Disaster of the Day: Celebrities

Grissom’s last day on the job is this Thursday. I’m calling it a disaster two days ahead of time.

I was very late to CSI. Like 8 years late. This summer, however, I was able to see almost every episode in about two weeks thanks a SPIKE multi-day marathon and knee surgery. I couldn’t get enough and can only thank God for the back-to-back-to-back-to-back episodes.
So now William Petersen is returning to Chicago theater where he will craft his craft. And after reading that he was making $600,000 an episode (yes, in one week….), I guess he can afford to explore.
Sidebar: I just did the math - if there are only 14 episodes in a season, that’s still $8.4 million for the year. (Is that right? So many zeros, so few spaces on my calculator. There must be special celebrity calculators for people who make that kind of cash..)
In any event, a very wealthy William Petersen is leaving CSI. And that’s a disaster.
