Disaster of the Day: Illinois Governor

I can’t be the only one who knows Oprah dodged a bullet when Illinois’ current governor said he had been considering Oprah for the state’s senate seat.

On Gayle King’s Sirius show, Oprah said that she could be a senator, but wasn’t interested (…’in a nomination from him’…but she’s too kind to say so.)

I’m interested in this in the same way I can’t look away from horror films.
